CODE OF CONDUCT

Welcome to the Fireside User community! Please read the Code of Conduct carefully because your compliance with the Code of Conduct is required for continued use and access to Fireside (the “Application”), owned, operated, managed and provided by Alderwood Smoked Salt LLC. (“Alderwood”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”). If you do not agree with any of the terms, you should discontinue accessing or using the Application immediately.

We encourage you to be a part of the Application’s user community. In return, we ask for your cooperation in maintaining the safety and enjoyment of the Application’s users. We require everyone who accesses, registers, or utilizes any of the services to accept and uphold Our Code of Conduct.

User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content that you submit on or through any of the Application’s services, and any material or information that you transmit to other users and for your interactions with other users. We do not endorse the content you place on the Application, but do have the right to monitor and act appropriately on any content you and other users may place on the Application (“User Generated Content”).

If at any time Alderwood chooses, in its sole discretion, to modify, flag or delete inappropriate content or respond to a user’s request to flag (“Report”) content that he or she finds inappropriate, or restrict or terminate access by any user to the Application and any of its services, Alderwood assumes no responsibility for such user conduct or the retention of such Reported content aside from Our right to monitor inappropriate conduct or to modify or delete any inappropriate content.

Restriction or Termination of Access

Please know that any failure to observe the Code of Conduct may result in restriction of access to the Application or the deletion of any content posted or transmitted by you on the Application. We reserve the right and discretion to edit, remove, delete, block, or otherwise disable your access to an account or any uploaded content that does not comply with this Code of Conduct as we see fit.

Users that repeatedly post inappropriate content or show disrespect for conduct guidelines may have their account or access removed without warning, and their membership terminated or suspended.

User Disputes

You are solely responsible for your interactions with other Application users. Alderwood reserves the right, but has no obligation, to monitor disputes between you and other users.

Password

When you sign up for a user account, you will also be asked to choose a password. You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password. You agree not to use the account, username, or password of another user at any time, or to disclose your password to any third party. You agree to notify Us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account or access to your password. You are solely responsible for any and all use of your account.

Non-Commercial Use

The Application is provided for the personal use of registered users only and may not be used in connection with any commercial activities except those that are specifically endorsed or approved by Alderwood. Illegal or unauthorized use of the Application, including collecting usernames, e-mail addresses, and other such personal information of users by electronic or other means for the purpose of sending unsolicited e-mail or unauthorized framing of or linking to the Application is prohibited. Commercial advertisements, links, or other forms of solicitation may be removed from the Application without notice and may result in termination of user privileges. Appropriate legal action will be taken for any illegal or unauthorized use of the Application.

Offensive and Profane Content

Users should refrain from using language or transmitting content that may be considered offensive or profane to other users of the Application. This partially includes profanity and offensive images, or other media containing obscene, sexually explicit, or excessively violent content.

Harassment

Users are expressly prohibited from harassing or threatening other users. Harassing behavior and language includes insults, ethnic and homophobic slurs, defamatory statements, invasive statements that may infringe on a user’s privacy, or the transmission or sharing of any content that may cause another user to experience ridicule, threat or discomfort.

Inappropriate Use

Users shall not use or allow their account to be used for any illegal or unauthorized content, including but not limited to content that is unlawful, impersonates any person or entity or falsely states or otherwise misrepresents your affiliation with a person or entity (this provision excludes content that qualifies as fair use such as non-deceptive parody of public figures), or any form of unsolicited marketing or spam.

Copyright Infringement and Proprietary Rights

Registered users are expressly prohibited from posting, uploading or sharing any material that may infringe on the copyrights or proprietary rights of any other individual in the world. For purposes of the Code of Conduct, proprietary rights includes but are not limited to trademarks, trade secrets, confidential information, or information subject to a non-disclosure agreement. Please reference Our Terms of Service for additional information.

You are encouraged to notify Us in the event that you believe certain content or behavior has violated this Code of Conduct by using the “Report” function on the Application. Please note that failure to enforce any part of our Code of Conduct does not constitute a waiver of any portion of this Code of Conduct.

Changes to the Code of Conduct

We may update the Code of Conduct at any time by updating this posting. You are responsible for regularly reviewing the Code of Conduct. Continued use of the Application after an update signifies your acceptance of the changes.
